Detailer was Picus from autopia.org

Too bad he not in my area or i would really pay $$$ for him to do my G sedan.

Thanks! I bought my 03 G in December last year, researched detailing it myself (noob detailer) and followed the recommendations of Punchit and Picus to do my first ever detailing job a couple months ago. My results were good but not great (not nearly as good as the Picus pictures in this thread). I washed, clayed, washed, SSR2.5, SSR1, Menzerna Glaze then Menzerna FMJ (all applied with various Lake Country pads and a PC 7424). My wife thought I was crazy for spending 8 hours on a car (and still does).

The results are attached but the car is dull compared to what Picus did. After reading the posts (that James pointed out to me) I think I missed the 50-50 alcohol bath after polishing, the polishing until the polish breaks down, and waxing the next day. I did apply P21S Carnuba wax about a month after the detail but it still didn't look nearly as wet as the original posts here.
