sealant is "wax".

Sealant is a synthetic protectant coat.
Carnuba is natural.

You can put carnuba OVER sealant, but not the other way around.

Wait 24 hrs when layering synthetic / synthetic, and wait 7 days before applying carnuba over Sealant.

Sealants and Carnuba waxes each have their pro's and cons....

Autopia.org has a lot of good info

Four Star is pretty good. Zaino has a sealant which is also pretty good. Klasse SG is pretty good too!

It comes down to preference. I put sealants on daily drivers that don't get washed. They last around 3-4 months under abuse. As long as you apply it to a properly prepped surface, it will last.

Personally I use Klasse SG when I have to because I have so damn much of it lol.

My wax of choice is Meguiar's #16 or Blitz, both of which are known to the state of CA to cause cancer. I don't care, its old school and its beautiful!
