Ever question getting the clearbra?
Ever question getting the clearbra?
some of you may have asked if a clearbra is truly worth the money. and from many forum member's testimonials (including myself) on the clearbra, it is agreed that the film does a great job in protecting our coupe's "fragile" paint from such things as rock chips and bugs. However to my dismay, i have discovered what a wonderous thing the clearbra truly is.....
i was coming home one day and in my haste, i sideswiped the side of my garage with the front of my car....you can imagine what came out of my mouth when i heard that scraping sound...goddamn...!@#@!!#@!..bleep, bleep..you get my point. when i got out of the car to assess the damage, it looked pretty bad. i then got out a rag and some cleaning solution and started to scrub off all the white paint from the garage wall that got scraped onto my car. it was all on the fender right at the area of the clear corners--above and below. to my surprise, after all the paint was gone, the only damage was to the clearbra!!!! there was one pinpoint size chip in the paint and there were some pretty good size scrapes on the clearbra, but that was it. i had some extra pieces of 3m film in my garage and peeled off the fender piece next to the headlights and replaced it with a nice new piece...just like new now!!! but, the only downside is that the fender area just below the clear corners was slightly scratched and i wouldn't be able to replace it without purchasing the whole bumper piece again.
the point of this story......love the clearbra, cherish the clearbra, GET THE CLEARBRA!!!!
