Zaino Products: What do I really need for my black coupe?

They have soo many products I dont know what to get.

For example, they have "Polish for clear coat" and "Polish for Regular Paint"...which one to get?

All the fine swirls and noticeable scratches on my OB are driving me insane. I also dont want to spend too much on it.

Use the polish for Clear Coat Z2...Regular paint one is for older cars.
Don't forget to add the Z1 as per instructions.

if you are bothered by the swirls you can take it to a professional detailer to polish out the swirls..it will cost you $$. http://www.autopia-carcare.com/ read up on that site in the how to section and you wont have as much swirls..

I'd have to disagree with MikeButcher. Use the Z5 for darker cars and to remove fine swirls along with ZFX. Z1 is pretty much obsolete.

But I would agree with abc about taking the car to a professional detailer, preferrably one that uses Zaino. They can remove the swirls, then polish it with Zaino. You can follow up on your own. Otherwise, if you don't remove the swirls before the Zaino, it will magnify the swirls and you will not be happy.

I agree, I mean't ZFX no Z1...
Whatever you use Z2 or Z5, just make sure it's for clearcoat, not regular paint

You can change back and forth, Z2 and Z5. With darker colors I find I like Z5 most of the time. Black usually needs more coverup for minor defects and less for dazzle since it has so much 'shine' already in contrast to other colors.

I typically use ZFX the first layer of a treatment. Rarely use again unless I am going to strip off what I have and start over. Which I rarely do before a year to 18 mos. I am always adding another layer of Zaino at wash. It takes so little time. And of course finish off with Z6 each time, each layer. The benefits show through as time goes on!
