remedy for *fading* leather
After less than 2 months of ownership, already I've noticed some wrinkles (like many here) and *fading* patches on my passenger side leather seat (graphite) ... obviously the result of giving too many rides.
I'm sure the wrinkles are there to stay, but what about those 'patches'? Looked like the dye's been scuff'd off (sounds worse than it really is). Would Lexol or any of the popular cleaner/conditioner get rid of these patches?
Another thing ... does Lexol smell any good? Which one actually smells good?
The patches looked

it could be just dirty man, if thats the case then lexol would get it out.
Lexol conditioner does not really have a smell, some say that it smells leathery/fishy but thats only if you put too much. A little goes a long way, as it says on the bottle.
I hear Zaino for leather smells VERY good, most people wanna eat it... haha

Unless someone slid into your car with something sticking out of their pocket, or maybe some riveted jeans, or a hard belt, it should just be dirty, good luck with that! Even in my '00 Mustang that I just traded, after almost 4 years, I had only minor markings on the leather, except for the "wrinkles" and that leather was a lot cheaper than what the G comes with, when I bought that car, the wrinkles appeared the same day, been driving the G for a week and a half now, and barely any wrinkles!

Re: remedy for *fading* leather
I was able to borrow my cousin's Zymol cleaner and Zymol conditioner on the seat and got 99% of the white patches out. The effected area was much tougher to get out than I expected. I had to really work at it w. plenty of the 'cleaner' to get them out. Overall, the Zymol seemed like a very good product.
Later, I did get myself the Lexol Cleaner & Conditioner at Pep Boys.
btw ... has anyone also tried the Lexol 'Vinyl' cleaner? Does it leave that annoying 'wet/glossy' look on the surface?

Ok I was a firm user of Lexol..and it is a good product... BUT!
Now I have tried and am so impressed with the Platinum Leather products... You won't believe how good it is..and Platinum Ultimate Leather Conditioner and Platinum Ultimate Leather Cleaner Gel work so good together... Just my 2 cents that's all.

Zymol's "Vinyl" is excellent. I like it because it makes the interior incredibly beautiful and elegant. I'll post pics of my car in the future after I do the Zymol "Vinyl" and "Treat"(Treat is for the leather. Both are great. And the vinyl wont look wet either like if you were to use the Armourall vinyl wipes. The vinyl will be darkened and look moist like a fine pair of Italian shoes. Best I could explain it. And they notice it at the dealership too in a very big way.
