Proper procedure for fixing paint chips?

I know it's inevitable that someone is going to open their door and hit my G35 but I didn't expect it to happen 6 days after I got the car. I've been a little more paranoid but even though I parked far from everyone, someone in a minivan decided to park beside me and must've opened their doors carelessly.

So now that I've got this paint chipped off on my door, what's the proper way to fix this?(Besides getting some touch up paint and having at it).

Other than repainting the whole door, the only option is touchup paint and "Langka". Try it you may like it.
Langka Corp.

Re: Proper procedure for fixing paint chips?

Thanks Merlin, I actually ran across this link when I did a search on Google but couldn't thoroughly read it since I got busy at work.

I read the detailed instructions but I'm curious to get opinions from people who have actually used it. After watching the video that they have on their site it seems like something from an infomercial that you see at 3am.

Re: Proper procedure for fixing paint chips?

I tried it on 2 VERY small chips and it worked OK. I also tried it on my son's A4 and it worked a lot better there. It seems the newer the paint the longer it takes to adhere to the touched up part. So following the instructions and making it dry properly works out fine.
i know what you mean about the video, but I did some research too and checked other Forums like Porsche, Mustang etc and the users on those sites swore by it.

Re: Proper procedure for fixing paint chips?

Thanks a lot for the info Merlin. After doing a google search I found many owners of both new and old cars with positive things to say about the product. I'll give it a shot and order the kit today. Did you order the entire kit or just the langka product by itself?
