I found that out after being a Zaino user for years, but found a pc to get so much better results. My recommendation, forego the ZPC, get the Pinnacle XMT kit. Z5 is good as a sealant. Then top with a better polish than NXT, like Pinnacle Liquid Souveran.

thanks,

my main concern is the swirl and the polish. we have 3 different car with 3 different color.

G = black osbidian
FX = dark silver/ desert graphaite
Maxima = green. Fresh paint. painted about 1 week ago.

I take care of of G well, althouh the G stays outside. So i need a good swirl remover and polish and sealent for the G.

Also, The Fx is my dads daily car. And all the dust and stuff in Arizona ist in a rough position now.

And for maxima. the cloro was bad so my dad repainted it. My brother also doesnt take care of the maxima

im seeking towards menzerna IP, FPII for polishing for all three cars. then FTG

then for Sealent Z2/Z5 for G and FMG or Z2 for the Fx

As for PC i found this site www.tools-plus.com, PC for $99

and im buying Lake country pads 1 orange, 2 white, 1 gray

thats about it for now

Looks good! You could actually go w/ Z5 for all , instead of the Z2. I used Z2 & Z2Pro for many years and saw a deeper look with the Z5 on my DG G35 and Mil Silver GS300. I actually threw away the Z2 when I got my pc and Z5Pro.

First rule to Zaino, use VERY sparingly. If you can see an obvious haze, you used too much. To remove, you can use the "finger test". After a thin haze forms, swipe the haze with a finger. If it wipes clean, you're ready to be removed. If it smears, wait a little longer.

ZFX is a curing agent. If you choose not to use it, you will have to wait 12-24hrs to apply another layer. This has nothing to do with application time. With ZFX you can apply another layer once you remove the existing one.

With the color of your cars, you're better off just using Z5Pro. Although the Zaino site, as well as others, use the Z5/Z2 combination. Just different opinions, there is no right/wrong way. The fun part is experimenting and finding what works for you and your cars.

Have fun!

If you purchased FMJ, try that out and see if you like it before you purchase any zaino. Many on autopia will argue FMJ is as good as zaino, and no sense in purchasing multiple products that do the same thing. Also, pick up some more wash mitts if that's your only one, I use at least 3 per wash, and 2 buckets, seems like alot of your swirls are wash induced, so learn proper wash technique before doing any polishing or its just going to come right back

yes, I have purchased one but have another wash mitt and i also use 2 bucket method

My car was washed twice at the dealer and one time at the shop agter i got into accident. After that i have been washing by myself. I would be more carefull this time to make less swirls.

I follow the method written by picus

any more advice would be apreciated...

Some more advice? What are you using on your wheels? have seperate mitts for wheels as brake dust can f up paint pretty bad. Practice on another car first if possible. Pick up some blue painter's tape to mask all trim etc
