Gasoline

Does it really make a difference if you use the mid grade gas VS the Best high grade one? do yo get better mileage with the better gas? someone help me out i jsu got new 07 g35 and im curious to what is really better and if it isnt just a waste of money.

this has been discussed several times. seriously, it only comes out to be a few bucks more with premium. if you cant afford premium then you shouldnt have bought the g.

with that said, the salesman at the dealer told me i can use low grade as long as i stick to low grade (i.e. i dont get prem one week and low grade the next). i asked the tech and he said hell no. premium only.

The computer will retard timing to compensate for the lower octane fuel if the knock sensors indicate detonation. it's safe to use, but you'll likely get less then optimal performance.

ive never realized how advanced these cars are.. computers and timing .. good point. thanks
