Crystal Guard users, question about applying???
Crystal Guard users, question about applying???
I've been hearing about crystal guard and how well it works. However, it is unclear to me exactly how to use it. Here's how I think it's supposed to work, please correct me if I'm wrong.
1. Wash car with good car wash soap and a soft sponge or mit. Don't dry yet.
2. Spray on the crystal guard (quick version) and wipe all over with a microfiber cloth.
3. Dry off with a soft chamois. The end
Is that right?

yup sounds good. a lot of people wash the car using dawn before their first CGing though. i've found this thread to be really useful.

oops. good catch, rambo. after skimming so many threads with questions about CG instructions over these past few months, i overlooked CHAMOIS. hopefully, he clicked on that link, which is what i follow.

Re: Crystal Guard users, question about applying???
I would add a couple of additional hours of effort before you use the CG .use a claybar before you do this process. You will be surprise how much you will pick up and out of the paint surface. Please believe me it comes out great!
