Huper Optik Tint - Cure Time
Huper Optik Tint - Cure Time
I had Huper Optik tint installed in my G a couple of weeks ago and am wondering how long it should take to get all the bubbles out. Does this tint take longer to cure than other types of tint? If so, how long should it take before I'm bubble free? I'm in San Diego and the car is outside in the sun during the day. I had the tint done at Envisage at the same time I did the clear bra, and am hoping this stuff will cure before too much longer so I don't have to make another trip to the LA area. Any inputs are appreciated.
Re: Huper Optik Tint - Cure Time
Yes, Huper Optik film does take longer to dry bc it is a little thicker than conventional window film. Give it a wk after install, and everything should be good.....since you're in LA, you should be getting plenty of sunshine.....hope this helps.

Re: Huper Optik Tint - Cure Time
My installer was very good at it,from the start i had almost no bubbles, it took less than a week to look perfect, but than that was in the summer, I am very happy with the end results
Re: Huper Optik Tint - Cure Time
DaneB,
How did your cure time turn out? I just had mine put in 3 days ago, and still have tons of little bubbles. They said 7-10 days, and suggested I bring it back in to get it touched up. Did you have to do this?
Thanks
