It's what we get for owning a black car! I own 2, a G35C and a 911 Carerra. What you will have to do is strip the wax,(wash the car and use a wax remover) Get a good glaze, Meguiar's #9 swirl remover or 3M's version. Use a foam pad to work the glaze in. If you have a buffer, find a shop that supplies bodyshops and detail shops (hint: look for a shop that sells car paint to bodyshops), pick up a foam pad or two that fit your buffer. Work the glaze in per the instructions on the bottle, or do a web search on auto detailing. After you are done with the glaze, swirl marks are gone and you have a great shine! protect the shine with a good wax, Mequiar's, Mother's,etc. Remember, wax protects, glaze is what brings out the deep, wet look!

just a note about teh zaino swirl remover mentioned above . ..

technically, it does not remove them, it simply hides them very very well. of course, we are talking minor swirling etc -

buffer caused swirls take more work . . .

then 3M is the procuct of choice,(my choice anyways) ive done customer cars with it and watched them do it (the best part) and bring bad cars back to beauty . . .

Re: Do you have swirl marks on your coupe?

I'm new to this forum, but I'm not new to detailing. Removing swirls really take a machine and the right polish. Most polishes have fillers that make it look like the swirls are gone, but they return after the fillers have worn off.

I just used this stuff from www.properautocare.com called Menzerna. It is a polish with NO fillers and does a great job, but you have to use a machine. Check it out...
