Machine wash or hand wash?

 

I just put them in the machine and dryer on low

 

I also read that you should not use a fabric softner with them while in the dryer.

 

That's a roger... I never use it anyways, makes the clothes feel sticky IMO, but yea, just clean and dry.....

 

There is this one product my tinter used called "SOLAR MAJIK". It's a silicone based cleaner that cleans the tint from the inside of the car and also leaves a very light film so the tints don't streak whenever you lower and raise your window. I use Plexus. Works very well on window tint as a cleaner, polisher and protectant.

 

I was just getting ready to create a new thread about using Micro Fiber towels and Stoner Invisible glass but did a quick search first. Well I guess I'm not the first to come up with this idea. I bought a 6 pack of stoner at Sam's Club last year. I really don't clean my interior glass often but had some streaks from some guy cleaning my windows after my last oil change, PS: don't let the oil change guy clean your glass.

I was using paper towels and stoner and I noticed a bunch of oily streaks on my window and I did not want to scratch the window tint scrubbing so I grabbed a clean MF towel and started wiping. Wow, no streaks, just crystal clear glass. Paper towels leave little pieces of paper dust on your windows, MF towels don't. This is an awesome combo.

 

For my tint I use only hand soap mixed with water and a microfiber cloth. It only takes a lil soap to do the trick. Wipe with one cloth and dry with another and it will come out perfect each time.

 

I usually just use regular glass cleaner and paper towels, no scratches or anything yet.

 

don't "pros" use newspaper when cleaning windows? that's probably the outside anyway.

In any case +1 for stoner's Invisible Glass and MF towels, and not only because it's from a company called stoners

About cleaning MFs, I personally chuck em in my washing machine on delicate with normal detergent (NO fabric softener), the vinegar you put in at the last cycle of your washing machine. Its action is to expel the last particles of the detergent from the towels, making them softer when they dry.

Dry in the drying machine with no/low heat, NO fabric softener, and you're golden.

and whatever you do, WASH MICROFIBERS SEPARATELY: lint from other cloths will be attracted to the microfiber and will clog the towels up, reducing their efficiency and causing you to scratch your car with the lint trapped within the fibers.

 

Also you can use white vinegar to remove trace of blood from your body. I just heard that today for a tv show. Correct me if im wrong.

 

That's correct. And lye sprinkled on a body will make it decompose faster...usually within 4-6 months instead of the usual 10.

 

Also if you burn a human body starting at the toes it will decompose of the body quicker than if you start at the head, correct me if i'm wrong.
