03-05 OEM lip clear Carwashes?

Just wondering if any of you guys can give me some feedback on this. I just bought the OEM lip and I frequent carwashes in the wintertime. I wanna know if I should avoid going with the new lip and 1" drop. Thanks for you input!

If I were you, I would not take your car to an automated car wash....Go to a handwash or do it yourself place...

Do a search...alot of people have had either their rims or body kits messed up as a result of going to an automatic car wash....Use your own judgement, but I would in the future stay away from them entirely.

your baby is too precious to take thru the automated handwash!!!

always tell em to do an offline car wash if you have aftermkt rims/tires, bodykit, or a drop

they will handwash it for you instead of taking it thru that thang.

I mostly handwash my car myself, but winter is way too cold. I don't have my nice wheels on now, so I don't have any problems when I go with my car now.

How much do they charge to handwash for you?

Laser washes don't touch your car at all. you just park in the middle. And it does it all. The only problem with these is it can't get dust out. Nothing like dusting gets dust out. Hah.

watch the video http://www.pdqinc.com/Videos/index.asp?video=lwg5

and for you laszy ones...lol

If you want swirls in your paint and for it to look generally like garbage, go through those automatic carwashes that say "softcloth" ha. Imagine all the stuff those "soft" cloths have embedded in them. Also, they aren't that "soft" to begin with. If they were, they wouldn't last a day. So, go ahead and go through them. Then, go to someone to make you paint look good again. You keep detailers in business. They need work too. Just don't be surprised when the detailers charge you more for more polishing steps because your paint is so messed up. By the way, the damage to your G from the rails and whatnot should just be considered a bonus!

If you must go to a carwash, go to the spray yourself or a touchless wash.
