I saw a thread where a discusion was going on about how to close the trunk on the new G and not scratch the chrome trunk lid. I noticed today that there is a recessed handle insert in the trunk made to put your fingers in and close the trunk without touching the outside. It worked great. I have a picture. It is to the right of the latch. I haven't see this discussed in a while. Very nice feature. They made have thought of just about everthing on this car.

and g37 style really got screwed over so its a kool feature but i wish it was on a good looking car instead of the hideous monster they about to produce.

Trunk grab handle has been there since "doggie door" trunklid eliminated on 03.5's.

What the hell is a G37 ?? (a bored/stroked 3.5 liter ??)

 

G37 is the new G coupe that will be out in a few months. Now, I haven't seen any pictures of the trunk, so maybe he was referring to the 07 G35 Sedan? Yes, I've seen this handle in the 06 sedan, so it isn't that new.

As for the new car, I like the way it looks, although I nice front spoiler will make it all that much better. Frankly, it looks similar to the current G, so I can't even say that it is ugly or not without putting my car to shame Yes, this is the car detailing section, but he did mentioned not putting fingerprints on the car rear trunk, so I think he is "safe" from having this move to oblivion and placed next to that "other" sock
