Wheels America - Anyone used them?

I am thinking of having my scracthed rim refinished by Wheels America. Has anyone used them? Do they do a good job? How close is the color/tecture match?

(The rim is a G35 18 inch coupe rim if that matters)

I haven't used them yet, but I did visit one of their shops in NY. If you go to a shop that has worked on 18" coupe rims, ask them about the color match. If they say no problem, don't trust them and they just want your business. An honest answer would be, it will be ever so slightly off. No one will ever notice. And you will only notice once in a while. And by slightly off, they mean the difference of a black t-shirt that has been washed five times.

Thanks.

I found a local place (Keystone) that will do the work. (strip & powder coat) I am going to give them a shot.

Re: Wheels America - Anyone used them?

I just answered similar question on a scratched rim......I heard some not so nice things about wheels america .....a few people had posted some e-mails regarding their experience I have contacted so far three (3) establishments that do the same thing
1) wheel collision .com - bath,P.A.
2) wheel technologies.com - Tx
3) AAArims.com - MI.
one told me that if i repainted both wheels on the side of the car that you would not be able to tell....(wheel collision)
the second one i spoke with told me it would match..(wheel technologies) ......so I wish I could trust them ...but you know how it goes.. everythings perfect until you get the rim back 50/50
shot....too risky for me...I think i'll just go for a new rim...in the meantime if anyone else could help us out it would be appreciated .....2old4this
