Front bumper parking scratches...

The bottom of my front bumper is ate up from parking a little too close to one of those cement things. It's not really noticible, but I'd like to take care of it. Does anyone have any tips? the dealer said to use touch up paint and a little rubbing compound. Will that work? If so, can someone recommend a rubbing compound?

Is it on the black valence? Rubbing compound won't work on that, it's plastic. I had some trouble with mine when I fist got my G, mine was just minor, but, I carefully trimmed any "fringe" off, and the one spot that looked worse, I touched it up with a black Sharpie, it's barely noticeable now! I'll try and get a pic of it tomorrow, okay?

Thanks ABQ,
By valence I'm guessing that you mean the flat black, unpainted piece that hangs down under the bumper. That's a little roughed up, but I was planning on using a REAL fine sandpaper on it. I'll probably take your advice, and just trim the fury parts. The question i had was about the actual painted bumper. The front spoiler, aero package thing. There's one small spot where I can actually see white :-(

Yeah, that's what I meant! This is exactly why I didn't want the aero package, it's already pretty low in front! How much black does the "aero" front have? Be careful sanding it, it may look "white"! Do you have a pic?
