Headlights

I'm a new G35 owner (as of about 19 hours ago) and noticed this morning its headlights appear to be a little "cloudy" on the inside? Is this normal from the heat of the bulb or something? BTW - It's a 2003 w/ 36k miles on it. Thanks!

Make sure it is on the inside first by taking a liquid plastic restorer and going over the headlights a few times. Meguiars makes a good one. This will take off the crud that usually builds up.

If it is foggy on the inside, then it is getting moisture in there from a seal leak. So you should probably take out the headlight and check the seals and seams.

If it is just plastic wear or moisture rot on the inside, then new headlights are for you.

the meguiars product is called PlastX, and it works great (if the haze is on the outside of lense).

like Cobra said, if you have moisture on the inside, that's another problem that won't be fixed by PlastX. new light assemblies may be req'd...
