The sedan has Onyx 35% all around and 55% on the front windshield. The coupe has Onyx 55% for the doors, 35% in the rear, and 55% on the front windshield.

Since you live in LA, I do recommend you to Song's Tint Masters. My friends, Hann & Jay, owns that shop and have been tinting for 16 yrs........they are one of the best in the industry and carries Huper and Madico films. They're located:

Also do you know what I should expect to pay at your friend's shop for let's say Onyx 55% all around?

I honestly don't know what they charge over there, but Shops that use Madico's Onyx can cost anywhere from $200 and up depending on how many windows.

Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of the Charcool line or Huper Optik. Good luck!

Found some Huper pics on G35s.

I think I want the Huper since it gets real hot here in So. Cali during the summer. What do you think? I don't want super dark though.

Huper is a very nice film, but the only downside to it is the price. It costs vendors or retailers about 400% more to get Huper film over any conventional film. So in that respect, it is worth the $400 for those willing to pay for it. Plus, installing Huper film is quite a bit more difficult because it's a 9 mil thick film. It would take longer to dry and is much more difficult to shrink.
