Umm, I break every car in with a nice hefty fart. Even my wife's (well the G is hers). This just ultimately lets the car know that I am the master.

mmmmm....no. new car smell comes from the manufacturing process of electronics, plastics and leathers--not cleaning agents.

keep your windows closed when not in use. never smoke or eat in the car. vacuum and keep the inside clean.

i have driven my G for about 12,000 miles, got it back in nov. And i can still smell that new smell. You know what else smells like that. These T-shirts we sell at our business, i thought about putting couple dozen in the car for couple of days, lol But the smell is still there so have not tried it

Honestly, just don't eat in your car or drive people that want to smoke or eat in your car...Then just keep it clean and clean the leather. Try not to use armor all on the interior...That's all you need to do...I have my car for about a year and everyone that has been in it says it still smells like a new car...

Zaino leather in a bottle keeps that fresh leather smell in the car without the toxic vapors.

It is quite overpowering in the first few days of regular use, then calms down.

I am in love with the new car smell.
Are there any wipes for the leather or air freshners that smell like the new car smell?
Don't ride any tricks around...

+1 for the zaino leather cleaner and conditioner bottles. People are always surprised i still have the new car smell, even though its just zaino.

So you pull into a lot, get out, fart, fan the smell away, then get right back in your car? And nobody around the parking lot looks and laughs?

Farts = OK

Sharts = OK, as long as they are kept within your pants.
