Keeping off Break Dust

I have been meaning to ask about this, the G35 is a break dust happy car and i was wondering what you guys use to keep it off your wheels? Is there a material to spray on that will minimize the buildup?

Thanks!

The best thing you can do is to change your BRAKE pads to something that puts out less dust........

swap brake pads to aftermarket ones. you will have little to no brake dust on the rims and tires.

Changing your brake pads is the best way to reduce brake dust buildup.

To provide a barrier of protection for your wheels, I'd recommend using Poorboy's Wheel Sealant. Apply a coat or two every 2 - 3 months and cleaning your wheels will be a breeze. Just use shampoo and water with your normal washes, or for quick cleanings, a quick detailer and a microfiber towel. Brake dust and other contamination wipes away effortlessly.

just an FYI, if you wax your wheels, the dust comes off MUCH easier. There's also brake dust repellant, and its just as good.

Half the time I can get my wheels lookin mint with just the pressure washer.

Change the pads. I get almost no dust on my wheels. I do wash once a week though.

the 05+ brakes don't dust much to begin with anyways, I can go weeks without any significant dusting by applying a good sealant

wish I'd known this earlier...I'd read of people just washing off the brake dust, but missed the using a wax first. Any ideas on a good way to prep before applying wax? The parts where my spokes meet my wheels are kind of dirty and I can't seem to clean them, its like the dirt is *IN* the wheel, no idea how to clean it. I'll put some wax/sealant on after I get it clean, but I can't get it to that point. I'm going to order some P21s and other stuff from DI but I dunno what i'll do. Also, inside the wheel there is a ton of brake dust I can see and its really hard to get to, should I try to remove the wheel to clean this? How do u clean it on a daily/weekly basis w/o removing the wheel?

just clean thoroughly with soap and water before waxing. take the wheels off if you have to for a deep cleaning. then apply wheelwax.
daily cleaning is easy if you have wheelwax on. follow detailed image's advice and use spray detailer and microfiber towel.
