A question out of left Field here:

Do your eyes water for a day after you use leather conditioner on the seats?

I am using Mcguires.

Lexol is good stuff, been using it for years. It doesn't make your eyes water either as someone mentioned above about Meguiars.

which one would maintain the original dull finish? this can be used on the dashboard also, right? not sure if the dash is real leather.

I condition the leather in my car about once every 2 months. The Lexol doesn't give any kind of a shiny finish. The only real thing that I notice after using it is that the leather has a stronger leather smell for a day or so(not a bad smell though, and not invasive), and the leather looks very clean and not dusty or dry. It doesn't look wet or shiney.

I'm sure the Turtle Wax does the job but from my experience Meguair's products are better than Turtle Wax. For leather, I used to use the Meguair's but I recently swtiched to the Lexol. Lexol doesn't leave a smell and a shiny residue compared to the Meguair's.
