2001 Porsche 996 Carrera 4 Cabrio Aero

I had the pleasure to work on this gorgeous Guards Red Porsche for a new client of mine. This client was looking for me to treat the car like my own (no problem ) and go to town on the swirls, light scratches, and some rock chips. The overall condition of the car was very clean (in the realest sense of the word). Barely any bonded contaminants, interior was only lightly soiled, and the wheel wells (even after 40k) looked brand new. I guess it helps that it's been garaged since new and not driven in the rain.

Anyway, I got there early and was lucky to have some shade outside to work on the interior. As aforementioned, only light soil, so no befores. My finals were:

-Steam clean all carpeted areas
-Zaino Z9 to clean leather, vinyl, rubber, plastic
-Zaino Z10 to dress/protect leather, vinyl, rubber, plastic
-Zaino Z-PC > Z-AIO > Z5 Pro on painted console and seat backs
-Zaino Z8 in jams
-Stoner's Invisible Glass on glass, mirrors

The exterior, as it always does, posed the most of the problems. It was just littered with swirls, light scratches, a couple chips, and some etched in water spots. The owner actually had it detailed a couple months back for a pretty penny. He commented "it doesn't even look like they did anything".

The owner wanted me to step in hard and correct as close to 100% as possible without sacrificing the paint's life. My finals for the exterior were:

-Zaino Z7 Wash
-Zaino Z18 Clay with Z7 as lube
-P21s Wheel Cleaner to clean wheels
-EFHI cut 5:1 to clean tires, wells

-Hi-Temp Extreme Cut/Optimum Polish (30/70) via rotary and LC CCS Orange Cutting Pad @ 1500 (x 2 on trunk and hood)
-Menzerna PO85RD via rotary and LC CCS White Polishing Pad @ 1300
-Zaino Z-AIO on exhaust and rear window
-Zaino Z6 wipedown

-Zaino Z5 Pro on paint, lighting
-Zaino Clear Seal on wheels
-Zaino Z16 on tires (x 2)
-Zaino Z6 final wipedown

After compounding, I pulled her into the sun. Note the light hologramming, but swirls are removed

Afters

(couple stray marrs from deeper damage)

Cheers.

Hi-Temp Extreme Cut Compound, Optimum Car Polish, and Menzerna PO85RD Polish took them out . Zaino made the thing bling at the end, plus added incredible amounts of protection.

Hey stilez where do you buy your products? Zaino seems to be the favorite on this forum but I haven't seen it for sale anywhere.

red: I can agree with you, but you can't beat the protection of Zaino.
