Paint chip in front bumper!! Need Suggestions!!
Just purchased a 07 Coupe two weeks ago, and have discovered a chip in the paint on the front bumper!! In the area where it is, the paint is completely gone, thus showing the black underneath it. If you ask me it stands out pretty well. The size of the blemish is about .5mm diameter.
Should I clean, and then use touch up paint to cover it?
Looking for any and all suggestions!!

Wash car and then use factory touchup paint. If you will layer the touchup paint until it fills in the hole then you can go back over the area with a very
smooth sandpaer to level out the area. It should be a high grit paper and be very careful to to sand anything other than the touchup paint. It helps to glue a small piece of sandpaper on the eraser end of a pencil. then you can
basically erase the area smooth. Then wax and seal the area with a premium
wax and sealant. Like meguiars and zaino. Voila area should blend and not be nticeable. If I were you after I fixed it I would clear bra my bumper or else your just wasting your friggin time fixing the scratch. Infinitis paint sux and you'll be getting lots of nicks and dings and such without a clearbra to protect it.

Over-fill the blemish with paint and allow to thoroughly dry anf then use a Run Razor - This cleverly-designed tool will take care of any problem areas that crop up toward the end of the painting process. Run Razor holds standard razor blades at a precise angle to shave down semi-hardened runs, sags or dust between colour and clear coats. Just pass it gently over the surface, dialling down the blade position indicator in.001" increments until the imperfection is gone - http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?i...emType=PRODUCT.
