2 Great Specials at DetailedImage.com in August

G35Driver members,

I just wanted to give you guys a heads up on the specials we are running at Detailed Image this month. I think that these are products that should be in any detailers arsenal of products. These sales run until 08/30/07 and additional discounts do not apply while they are on sale.

Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant - Normally $17.99 on sale for $11.99! Over 30% off its normal price. This product will cut down your time caring for your wheels dramatically. Simply apply a coat (up to 3 for maximum results) of Wheel Sealant on your clean wheels to provide a barrier of protection that not only will help minimize stubborn contamination, but makes future cleanings a breeze. Have a hard to clean wheel pattern, this product is a must for you. For maintaining your wheels, simply use some automotive shampoo, some water, and a dedicated wash mitt.

303 Aerospace Protectant 32oz & 303 Fabric & Vinyl Cleaner 32oz Concentrate - Normally $37.98 on sale for $27.99. Save over 25%! Having a clean interior has always been a great source of pride for most vehicle owners. Keep your vehicle looking newer for longer with 303 Fabric & Vinyl Cleaner. This powerful concentrated formula works great at full strength or when diluted with water up to a 10:1 ratio. This means you get over 300 ounces of cleaning solution from just one 32 oz bottle. For a convenient way to measure and dilute your product, consider a 22oz spray bottle. This product works great on fabric, vinyl, rubber, plastic, leather and more. The versatility of this product allows you to clean virtually your entire interior with just one bottle. Protect many of those same surfaces from harmful UV rays with the 303 Aerospace Protectant. This product yields a bold new matte finish, while protecting your interior pieces from discoloring and fading over time. The 303 Aerospace Protectant will protect your vinyl, rubber, plastic, coated leather, trim, tires, engine bay casings and more. To easily monitor how much product you are using, a 4oz fine mist bottle is ideal for light even coverages and is small enough to keep in your glove box if desired. Get this fantastic combination of cleaner and protectant today and keep your interior looking great for years to come!

Here's a side by side comparison of what 303 Aerospace Protectant (right side) looks like next to a brand new factory finish (left side):

New at Detailed Image:

Lake Country Ulti-Mit and Lake Country Ulti-Mit Scrubber - the answer to a more durable wash mitt with two unique sides to wash your vehicle.

If anyone has any questions on anything or would like a package put together to fit their needs, please do not hesitate to PM or e-mail me.

Thanks for reading.

George

A lot of detailers have a misconception that products like Poorboy's Wheel Sealant and Wheel Wax prevent brake dust from accumulating. This is not the case. What it does is provide a barrier of protection that makes maintaining your wheels significantly easier on a regular basis. I do feel that Poorboy's World is a better product than Wheel Wax, but I wouldn't throw away half of a jar of Wheel Wax just to try Wheel Sealant. Wheel Sealant is a great price now though if you want to stock up.

How many coats are you applying of the WW? I've found Poorboy's works best when 2 - 3 thin coats are applied and typically lasts 2 - 3 months.

Good question. We both carry a wide variety of products that are geared towards higher quality detailing. I feel that our customer service is what really sets us apart as well as our extensive knowledge on every product we carry. Every vehicle is different, and every detailers goals and objectives are different. I believe we excel at matching our customers needs with the proper products to meet their goals.

In the coming week or so we will be launching our new website which is geared towards creating a new online experience for our customers while helping them take their detailing skills to the next level. We've also recently opened detailing forum, Detail University, which has people new to detailing to some of the best detailers in the world. Our goal is to help people get more out of their details.
