California water blade

Has anyone used it? Is it safe, or will it scratch the car? It looks a lot faster than towel drying, but I don't want to use anything that will harm the paint.

Re: California water blade

As long as the car is clean, the water blade should be completely safe. But if you still have any dirt left over, the blade can scrape that dirt across your clear coat, so be careful.

Re: California water blade

Thanks for the info. I actually ran a search before I posted the thread, but for some reason didn't get the same results.

Re: California water blade

Clean, well-protected car + waterblade = fine.

Not well-cleaned, non-waxed car + waterblade = tiiiiny scratches.

Conclusion: If you scratch your car with the waterblade, you need to relearn your wash/wax/Zaino/CG process
