i love the p21s as well, but has anyone noticed that p21s doesn't last very long. i tried 2-3 days after applying p21s and spray a little bit of water and it just didn't react how a newly waxed car should react with water drops.

It was never meant to last long, its carnuaba based, but 2-3 days is surprisingly short, I'm sure the protection is still there for at least a month though

What all are you applying to the car before the p21?

You should see around 30 days or so from p21 (depending on your location)

Ditto...and even worse when I apply it at any temperature below 60*. Great wax, and I will continue to spend the money on it, but it definitely seems like a high maintenance wax to me.

You have it backwards, chemical guys likely produces the smartwax products, just like they relable products for many other "boutique" suppliers. A few include Adam's polishes, and rumors say poorboys products are also made by chemical guys. In fact, you can make your own custom products with your own labels. http://www.chemicalguys.com/articles...7&Redirected=Y

I've been using AutoMagic's Bannana Magic. It is awesome! here is the info.

Banana Magic™ is a final step VOC compliant cream wax designed to add a high gloss and rich luster to new or used vehicles. Banana Magic™ contains banana oil which emits a rich banana fragrance. This premium wax is a low dust, high durability formulation that is easy to use and lasts a long time. Sizes: 16 oz., 1 gal. For sizes larger than 16 oz., contact your local Auto Magic® distributor by clicking here.

Low dust? I've never heard of any waxes that do dust. That's like advertising that your wax is low in caffeine.
