Today I finally received my OEM front chin spoiler from everythingg35.com. I placed my order last week thursday and was told I would receive it on tuesday but I guess the sales rep didn't realize I'm in Hawaii so it took another 2 days than expected. Overall I'm happy with the condition it came, no damages and all hardware and template included. Most of all they sent the right color (DP), whew! Price I paid was $299 + $83 2nd day air (yes I know, we get killed on the shipping charges here in Hawaii but you get used to it). Besides the total price was still less than what my dealer quoted me at $405 and they weren't sure when they were receiving them. Here's some pictures I took of the product in it's original packaging out of the box.(56K beware)
And for those of you that also received theirs, did you install it yourself? Any tips on the process like removing the front bumper and positioning of the template? Thanks in advance for your responses.

Another member also got thiers'. Sounded like the same issue, unclear instructions. Sorry I can't help you; I am very interested in the solution. Wanted to make this my next mod also! Nice house, lots of luck!

are those monitor audio's GR20s in the background? You do not need to take the front bumper out to install the lip, but you do have to take the bottom plastic liner to access those bolts on the lip once you drill on the bumper. The template is pretty lame imo. I was expecting a long piece as a template so it would be a little easier to put on and follow.

Bkchang,
How did you line up the template? I can't figure it out! Any and all help will be appreciated as I'm dying to put this thing on ASAP.

Thanks,
Frank

I received my lip as well... only 7 days after I placed the original order... I took it into the shop today to get it 3M stoneguarded.

Since it's going to require some drilling.. I'm going to have the body shop do the install... especially since my friend owns the shop.

yup i got mine as well from grubbs infiniti yesterday, splash guards and aluminum pedals also. i'm going to drill it carefully myself. i don't suppose it will be complicated, just need to test fit before i make any changes.

I have mine (twilight blue) on the way from Grubbs. I thinking of having my bodyshop do it also. Could you find out from your friend what a fair amount for the install would be?

Re: Finally, received my OEM front lip spoiler.
The 12 page manual that came with the OEM lip. Explains how to install the lip, where to place the template, drill bit size, where to put the screws, etc.

Re: Finally, received my OEM front lip spoiler.
I just spoke to John over at Grubbs and he said that none of the lips come with instructions. He explained how to line up the templates, but when I tried it, the template and the actual screw do NOT line up. I don't know whether I should follow the template or not. PLEASE, SOMEONE HELP!!!

Also, he said I wouldn't have to drill underneath the bumper to secure the lip. However, the holes on the lip do not line up with the screws underneath the bumper. What do I do?
