Low temp application of sealents, FMJ

Should I be concerned with the ambient temp when applying sealants like FMJ? Seen posts asking about waxes, but none specific about sealants. Looking like outside temps for next few days here will be in the lower 40's. I will be in the garage so I will be a few degrees warmer than outside. I'm really hoping to get two coats of FMJ followed by a couple coats of wax over the next few days. Thanks

As long as the temps are above 40s you should be fine applying and removing the product. With lower temperatures the cure time does take slightly longer if you plan on layering the coats or topping the FMJ with a wax. Ideally, give it a full 24+ hours to let the sealant cure properly.

Let us know how things turn out.

I applied two coats of FMJ with about 30hrs between coats. I'm not the best with a camera but here are some shots of the results.

Looking great! Your color really pops. What were you thoughts after using Menzerna FMJ? Thanks for sharing!

Once I got going it was pretty easy to work with. The finished result was nice enough I decided to wait for warmer weather to apply some wax. Overall I'm quite happy with the results. Thanks again George!
