Clear Bra - non hand washing
High Pressure water applied to the edges, over time, can cause damage or loosening from the car's surface.
Personally, I despise automatic and dealer washes, but most who know me think I should be seeking therapy with how **** I am with my car.
Either way, just be carefull.
Also, never use products like Bug and Tar remover on the film. I asked 3M and it's definitely NOT recommended!

Personally, I wouldn't use an auto car wash (other than occasionally touchless in the winter) and wouldn't let a dealer touch my car. So, the short answer is don't go those routes with clearbra either.
My '05 had the 3M clear on it, and I used the no touch full service car wash nearby when it was too cold, and never had any trouble with the clear film. On another Scotchgard issue, I also found out from 3M, that you could polish a scratch out with 3M Medium Cleaner Wax, worked great. Scratch didn't come from car wash BTW.
