Dawn

Did someone on this forum post re where to buy Dawn detergent in Canada? Sorry, I couldn't find the thread. Anyway, I was at Costco today, and not only are they selling big double pack bottles of it, they were giving away a huge (for a sample) 375 ml bottle. I LOVE the sample sizes they give away at Costco!

Re: Dawn

It is used to strip all the wax off your "G" so you can put a fresh coat down. So don't use it unless you will be waxing immediately afterward.

Re: Dawn

I can hardly think they sell any, giving away samples that big. . I'll check our store and see what they're giving away. I'm usually there for lunch anyway LOL

Re: Dawn

Also got a 400ml sample of Cheer liquid laudry detergent. Last summer, a couple of times, they had samples of their own brand of cola. Only place where I've been that a 'sample' was an entire can of pop! At least you can't claim that they make you buy bulk sizes on an empty stomach. Who says 'There's no such thing as a free lunch'??!!

Re: Dawn

there really is no such thing as a free lunch though..
eh, better not get into it.. in your perspective, it was free.. and that's all that matters.. one thing economics doesn't want to admit.. (i was an econ major, just to let u know)

Re: Dawn

Understood. Many economic issues behind my 'samples'. But yes, from my immediate perspective, it's still free.

Re: Dawn

Settle down, Cornholio.

You know, we used to use Dawn or some other dish soap to wash the cars all the time. Didn't realize it did that good a job of getting everything off the paint, including the wax. That could explain why my last car seemed to get dull quickly. No Dawn for the G, thank you very much.

Re: Dawn

Then I'd have to get one of those fancy ones with a blow dryer and stuff. Be great for those cold wintery days! MMMMM, warmth!
