Hey guys, i got my replica impul wing from the group buy and quickly took a pic of it to show you people. The quality of the replica was eh, but the body shop did a good job installing it.

Looks good. Very tasteful.. I'm getting my data systems spoiler put on tomorrow.

 

What was wrong with the quality of the replica versus the Impul spoiler? Different material, fit, etc??? Advise.

Very nice...I think I like that spoiler the best...Not too overstated, yet it definitely looks like it belongs on the Coupe...

usually knock off or replica kits require a little more attention to fit and finish...but if your body shop people know what their doing...its no big deal...a little more time and money to prep for a good fit/finish...as long as it costs you less than the original pc. when your done...your ahead of the game...

yep vinny, impressive did a decent job at install. The fit wasn't what I expected out of this replica, but watever. Btw, my car isnt clean, its just shiny :-).

 

does anyone know of a good body shop in the la/orange county area in southern california? I'm ordering a impul spoiler and if I can't find a good body show I'm considering asking the dealer to do it.

Got mine too, but the center piece is too short just a little bit on each side. It's about two periods short ..

I have a qustion since it did not came with the 3M double tape, how did you guys cut it out perfectly to fit the spoiler??

the shop I went had the tape and they did something, sorry im no help. The replica quality wasnt what I expected but it did save me 200, so I guess it was worth it.

 

Yes, my spoiler had the same quality as yours. But you now what I am not to worried about the sanding and fillings. Because the center piece doesn't seem to be long enough. And I know the reason, beacause the original one you have to bent it slightly. So that that's why you have to tell the bodyshop to heat up the center piece so it fits just fine. I am getting my spoiler toady. I know they did not heat that center thing up, so I might not install it yet.

I take it that everyone here has the knock-off Impul right? Does anyone actually have the real Impul spoiler. Where there any problems, what is the build quality like?
