Looks good but I doubt the scratches are gone, there's just no direct sun/light shots that would show the scratches. Plus looking at the supplies he used, there really isn't anything strong enough to really get rid of scratches. The Mothers wax most likely filled in some of the swirls. If someone were to actually hand polish a car to get rid of swirls or scratches it would easily take more than a day to do that. On the norm it takes 6-7 hours with a machine let along by hand. That aside, it looks WAAAAAY better than it did.

i didnt get my hads on some serious products yet i just ordered them, but if you know what you are doing cheap store stuff can also work. Every scratch that was on the car is almost invisible you would need to know where it was to see it. I dunno how close i can take pictures of the car for you to see that my doors are like mirrors. As for direct sungligh my car would look even more shiny than it is already. Combination of mothers wax with scratchX and Turtle black polish does a pretty good job.

Sunny shot directly on the panel would still show swirls and scratch IF you didn't remove them. Also not a good idea to put you MF on the floor including you applicator and brush. You don't want the car to get more swirls and scratches.

nice! Thought about investing in a DA? Personally it's one of the best purchases you can make. You can have great products but unless your paint is flawless and swirl free it will never quite be at it's highest potential. Plus, since you have a black car it should be a must. haha.

Also what scrooge said. I though the same exact thing when I first saw the pic.

My applicator is in the blue package how can it get dirty? the aplicators thats on the floor are not being used they are old ones i usualy use them to prep my wheels and tires. Mf is also old to wipedown my tires i always carry brand new MF and never reuse them on my car.

Yeah i need to get my hands on a DA , my car was flawless about a week ago never took it to a car wash since i purchased the car. Always took it to a good detail shops and self details, never used terry towels and always used brand new sponges. But when i was getting an oil change last week the mechanic decided to wash my car and used a broom to take care of dirt. When i got my car back i almost cried it looked so bad that i did not want my car back anymore. When my real stuff comes i will have to do some heavy work to make sure i can make my paint as perfect as i can.
Also thank you for giving everyone good advice on details as i see you been doing here on forums for a while now.
Also did anyone notice that wolfgang and pinnacle have exactly the same website design? which makes me think it's ran by the same corp or company....

Thank you
Nice work on your detail. Wolfgang and Pinnacle are both owned by PBMA, which also owns AutoGeek. A lot of companies (not just PBMA) have their hands in product lines and other websites, which unfortunately can often blur whats really best for the customer since they have a vested interest in a product line.

If you focus on proper techniques, application and the process, differences between products becomes slimmer and slimmer.

Nice work, keep us posted on how you make out with your new products.

George
