Wash your car? Why...?

Why are you washing the car in the first place? A car will not get smelly armpits or a cheesy groin. Bathing it will not increase its life expectancy or decrease the chances of a breakdown. All it does really is demonstrate to others that you have a tiny mind and an empty life. I want you to think carefully about this. Can you picture in your mind George Clooney washing a car? Quite.

I’ll give you a little hint here. When your windscreen is completely covered in dead flies, the best way of seeing where you are going is to buy a new car.

Guess I have a tiny mind and an empty life. I washed my car just yesterday and it will probably rain tomorrow.

Hmmm...I don't get it. Was this guy reviewing a Ford or complaining about washing his car?

You're not alone Scooch...I washed this weekend and knew we were expecting rain. I'm already planning on the next wash Thursday when it clears up again.

Can I picture George Clooney washing his car? Not a chance...but I guarantee that if his money ran out where he couldn't afford to pay people to keep his cars crystal clean, he'd be out there in the driveways with the rest of us shampooing his undercarriage.

CLEAN CARS FTW!

I was washing my car and waxing...

It was raining outside and I still had to drive home from work

RainX works wonders.

Just FYI, this is Jeremy Clarkson of BBC Top Gear fame. He's known for deadpan humor and deliberately trying to **** people off, so take with a grain of salt

yeah, after a while the dust builds up and you can't see anything, as far as cars go, i gave up long ago trying to keep a car pretty. it's just not possible around here. that and beige looks dirty no matter how clean it is.

but yeah, it's clarkson, take with a box of salt.

I live in the desert and have to keep five cars clean. I never thought why Im I doing this. Cause if I left any air borne containments, bird **** and tree sap on the car. It would destroy the cars finish and that right there to fix would be a higher bill to fix then my detail supplies.

You see, everytime I hand wax my car for a couple hours when its usually kind of cloudy - its good to wax your car in that kind of shade ~ Of course that kind of weather always leads to rain the next day...

(at least the dirt slides off with a light brush )
