G35Driver.Com License Plate Frames
OK....I talked with the Moderators here and got the thumbs up on having some G35Driver.Com license plate frames made up. I think this is a great idea because it will allow you to get rid of the dealer plate (yuck) and be able to tell if the guy you are driving next to is a G35Driver.com user or not.
Now, I am trying to get some ideas as far as what to do. As far as costs are concerned, the cheapest way would be to run a plastic frame, I'd say black, with maybe white writing on it that says G35Driver.com.
If we go the expensive route, they'll be a die-cast metal which is chrome plated and have G35Driver.com screened onto them. There will be a significant cost increase on these because of the setup fee's and qty needed to do a buy-in.
We are talking around the area of $5.00 shipped for the plastic or $15-20 for the die-cast ones. Again, these are estimates and they could be higher or lower depending on the quantity and type of frame.
Anyone intrested in doing this, send me a PM with how many you are intrested in purchasing, etc. If we don't get enough people to buy-in, then I'm not going to bother with it.
Please post here for your suggestions on what they should look like...simple or elaborate?
Thanks!!

Re: G35Driver.Com License Plate Frames
I would use one if the sponsors of this site gave me a 10% discount on products, lol
. I'm advertising for someone right? Seriously though, I need a very sturdy plate bracket. If I take my ride through an auto carwash, it gets underneath the plate and bends the crap out of it. $20 for a nice metal bracket is a good price and I'd buy one for that, even it did have a dot com advertisement on it....satin finish would be my preference. Or maybe a finish that looked like the stock 18"s.

Re: G35Driver.Com License Plate Frames
Hope you make them so stickers on the lower corners of the plates are visible, I don't know who designs some of these frames, the ones I have seen that read "Infiniti" completely cover my sticker and my handicapped symbol! (one lower left, one lower right)

Re: G35Driver.Com License Plate Frames
I think a lot of people want the chrome or the more expensive one. You should try for those, I would pay! It's much classier, but make sure the "G35driver" is visible and not just engraved.

Re: G35Driver.Com License Plate Frames
well....we can save a bunch of money if we did chrome plates with vinyl G35Driver.Com logos on them....
The other way, with the screened logos on the chrome, was extremely expensive as far as setup costs, etc. The $15-20 per plate would have to have a 250qty order, which is gonna be really hard...
If we do vinyl, we can probably get away with $10-12 for each one with about 25 or so buy-in....
Thoughts?

Re: G35Driver.Com License Plate Frames
I'm diggin this one. Weighs a pound, two screw mount, has a list at bottom that says it has G35 Infinity logo and a cool black inset. Maybe they could do the logo on bottom and the dot com stuff on top or something like that. Price is ok.
