They won't come out. You need to have carpet dyes.

Well you suppose to have the speed at 3-4 when or lower when applying wax. Not 5-6. Also what pads did you use on the car ???

You'll need to explain the exact process and products you used to create the problem and exactly what you did to try and resolve it. I have some good ideas on the fix for you but confirm the details first.

Posting up pics would help too.

This is what I did...
1. applied NXT wax by had w/ pad
2. Buff'd off with the light green pad on speed 5-6.
3. Noticed a CRAZY haze all over the car when a neighbor brought over a projector lamp.

4. Tried using Meguiars polish step #2....
5. Tried Scratch X

Both of steps 4 & 5 were applied and buff'd off the same way.

Your anodizing is F'd, thats why you aren't supposed to use wheel cleaners on volks. There is nothing you can do other than having the anodizing stripped and having the lips repolished.

My big project for next week is to get this oxidation taken care of so I can finally get this car sold and out of my driveway!

Money from it's sale goes to goodies for the G!

Since I'll post new ones when this project from hell is over. I think I'll try to use up all of my my old Meguiar's products up on this car instead of the cool new products I need to buy from George for the G.
Since I posted this in Post #7 of this thread, I have spent several evenings working on eliminating the severe oxidation on this car due to my neglect. (See picture #1) I initially tried to use my old Sears 10" RO buffer with terrycloth pads, but the foam backing pad on the buffer disintegrated, sending the pad out onto the lawn! That buffer then went straight into the trash, and I finished the job with the PC buffer and Griot's polishes I received as a gift. On the panel from the picture, it took 3 passes with their strongest polish and 2 passes each with their medium and fine polishes to get the panel looking like new. This was the worst panel, along with the spoiler. The Horizontal panels all required at least 1 pass of the strong and medium polish, while the vertical panels weren't nearly as bad. I followed up with their sealant and the next evening their wax. I think it turned out pretty good when it was all over! (see 2nd attached pic)

Now, I need to turn my attention to the interior. The interior is in pretty good shape for a 17-year old car except for the defroster vents...which are cracked in 2 places each (see 3rd picture). Good news is the replacement vents were reasonably priced...Bad news is that I need to remove the dashboard and console from the car to fix it I see my next couple of nights being not much fun...
