I use ulitmate detailer and it works great. Usually use after I take my car cover off. After I return from driving I usually dust down and hit it back with ultimate detailer, then throw the cover back on.

How is it diff from this

I use this at all times.

As clay lube and as a quick detailer between waxes.

I actually use it right after I wax the car as well.

I think the best clay lube is onr. It's the most cost effective clay lube. Right now using Fk1 425 as my quick detailer.

Its a waste to use this as your clay lube, pick up some of the maroon bottle stuff for the clay lube

I only use that as lubrication while I clay-bar.

I use this for any dirty spots I happen to come across (which is rare).

you are not suppose to use ultimate quik detailer as a clay lube. if you would like to use meguiars products as a clay lube use quik detailer, last touch diluted 1:1, or final inspection diluted 1:1.

ultimate quik detailer is a great detailer for in between washes, but i like m135 synthetic spray detailer better. i order it offline and it a little cheaper than ultimate quik detailer and gives what i think is a better shine.

If I'm not supposed to use it as clay lube, why does it come with the "Meguiar's Smooth Surface Clay Kit"?
Are the guys over at Meguiar's plotting against me hoping I'll screw up my paint?

it will work fine, but it costs $10 a bottle, while the regular quick detailer is ~$5, feel free to continue to waste your money though.

I do it only twice a year or so.

No big deal.

I tried the Ultimate Detailer yesterday and cant tell the difference betweeen it and the maroon bottle. I see no reason to spend the extra money.
