Hi Guys - I have seen a lot of discussions on the best wax/polish for black. What about Diamond Graphite? I am looking for something that is easy to use and is highly durable. What are your thoughts?

 

I have been using the products from www.griotsgarage.com and also the Zymol cleaner wax for quick shines.

I use the Griots Speed Shine for quick daily wipe downs to keep the car clean and shiny.

Carnauba wax will give you the best shine.....but polymer/acrylics type waxes seem to hold up longer......
I recently used the Klasse all in one cleaner and the Klasse Sealant/Glaze top coat......

My car is Ivory Pearl, and I will say it did a great job of hiding any minor imperfections and restored the finish to a smooth glass like shine.....

I will have to see how well it will hold up, but I was quite happy with the results so far.....

As far a ease of use.....I think the more time it takes to do, the better your end result will be.....Spend a day cleaning and waxing and I'm sure you will not regret your efforts.....

Check out my DG Coupe with Crystal Guard. I think the 3rd picture best illustrates the shine it leaves and being a polymer sealant will last longer than your traditional waxes. Just make sure to clay your car before applying any polymer sealant for the best results.
