The problem is that most waxes appear whitish when applied because they go on so thin. There are some colored waxes out there, but they generally are not that good. I would suggest just taking your time and examining the car closely. It may even take a few times where you go do something else and recheck and find some more wax. Good luck. What wax are you using?

Hey thanks.. I had it done once professionally.. but I want to get 2 more coats on and do it myself.. I recently purchased the Zanio wax.. did research and heard nothing but amazing things about it. It is actually a very very pale pink color, so should be a breeze to wax, im hoping!- Also getting windows tinted next week.. they use Sun Gard heard that was one of the best too, any comments on that???

First two are what it looks like most of the time...this one has some light behind it on a sunny day so you can see how light it actually is.

I have an IP 06 g35x and I use Meguiar's NXT paste wax. Very hard to see putting on if you aren't in alot of light. Car comes out looking gorgeous every time. I also just had my windows done 35%.
Unfortunately the car is a bit out of commission till Monday so maybe I'll get some pics then.
