Yellowish tires

I posted this in the tires board but it's probably more appropriate to post it here.

I'm going to wash my car in a few hours and I've noticed that the tires have a yellowish orange to them. The only thing I can think of is that crap I spray of them to make them look shiny. I sometimes don't scrub them when I wash the car since I'm always in a hurry but hopefully scrubbing them will get the yellow off. Anyone ever had this on their tires?

You mean tire browning. Clean the tire with a tire cleaner or full strength APC. Then give a good scrubbing with a stiff brush and wash off.

+1 on APC+..my go to product for tires/ wheel wells and even interior. Make sure to use the right dilution ratio for what you are using it on.

On clearcoat wheels the over spray won't hurt. But use 10:1 on light dirty and 4:1 and dirty wheels. Also 4:1 or 10:1 on the wheel wells.
