Wheel washing and protecting.

Okay, so ive got some new wheels coming this week (PIAA SuperRozza 20" Hyper black) ...and I've been reading through threads saying different things about what you can and cannot use on aftermarket wheels. First off, I see that WheelWax and the Pooboys stuff is totally okay on pretty much any aftermarket wheel, finish, whatever... (correct me if im wrong). Now, With these new wheels i want to keep them nice and shiny and i want them to stand out. So, what shoudl i and what can i use to keep these badboys clean, shiny, and safe? George @ DetailedImage please chime in!!!

And thankyou in advance to anyone who gives input. I appreciate it.DOMO

This looks like a good product for aftermarket wheels because it specifically says its safe to use on aftermarket wheels.

What do you guys think?

As these are brand new wheels, I wouldnt use wheel cleaners just yet... I would wash weekly (or biweekly based on your driving and conditions) with a good car soap and apply a wax to your wheels... i highly recommend wheel wax, since i started using it there is considerably less brake dust and it is also much much easier to clean when washing... good luck and great choice of wheels...

id go with just car soap and water......as far as protection... ive used wheel wax and most rescently chemical bros acrylic wheel protectant on my chrome asanti's...and neither was to impressed with... next im going to just wax them with my car wax...it works on the paint, why not the wheels...and ive heard several people doin it with good success.....

on the same note...... the biggest factor in keeping my wheels clean..... i ditched the factory brake pads and went with hawk hps pads
