my armrest!

ack, i looked at my g's armrest today and its starting to get shiny. i don't know if my elbow is supposedly that greasy, but i know i always put my elbow there when i'm driving.
what can i use to clean the leather and protect it from happening again?

the space bar on my computer keyboard is shiniest on the spot where my thumb hits it. lol. are you wearing that area out? i wonder if using a cleaner + conditioner would work. something like lexol.

haha, the same on my keyboard. i'm not wearing it out i don't think. i seemed to be able to wipe some of it off, but there's still a bit on there. i think it was grease from when i picked up some kfc. not sure though

Re: my armrest!

Definitely clean it and condition it. Try Lexol. Gotta give the leather some love!

Seriously, I haven't noticed it being a problem on my G yet, my last car, Mustang GT, that started getting like that right away!

Re: my armrest!

well most of the grease that was there went away after wiping it off, but its a tad bit shinier than it should be. leather itself doesn't seem to be fading, just probably natural oil from my arm everytime i rest on it. yuck
