Vinegar is acidic, I would only use that on windows. I once had a bottle of vinegar that leaked in my garage, and it seriously etched the concrete!

Acid + clear coat = no no no.

 

Vinegar is mainly a dilute aqueous solution of acetic acid
Most commercial distilled white vinegars contain 5% acetic acid and have a pH (potential hydrogen) of about 2.4. Pure water has a pH of 7 and is neutral.
Now ask yourself...do I want to wash my car with acid?


btw Lemon Juice has about the same pH but would smell much nicer.

I agree on the windows w/ vinegar. It cleans great.. also great if you want to get stinky smell out of clothes. Just put about 1 cup of vinegar in a medium size wash, 2 cups for large and all the stinky, sweaty smell will be gone. But don't use it for washing your Baby G.

 

And apple cider vinegar is supposed to be good for you heart and help lower cholesterol! I know someone who had a heart attack almost 40 years ago, and has been taking a swig of that every day, and is doing great still! (I know, off topic!)

 

It's because I cant afford car soap because I just dropped off my rear bumper and rear side skirt to repaint them for $450

I'm wondering if it is better than car soap to get the car cleaner. I'm going to use it with a sponge.

Dude, if you honestly can't afford car soap you really shouldn't have the G to begin with. Also, don't wash your car with a sponge, get sheepskin mitt (if you can afford it).

 

Sell your G.. that way u wont be paying a 14% interest rate either.
