Lighting...

What kind of lights do you all use to highlight all of the swirls and imperfections in paint? I need something better than the light I have in my garage.

Just a good halogen light...at least 500watts, and preferably a dual. That's my .02 at least.

I bought mine at Sears for like $30.

I actually like to use both halogen and fluorescent. Some swirls only show up under fluorescent lighting for some reason

yes, halogen is sometimes too bright, so i use the blue hue twisty flourecsent bulbs to reflect swirls. the softer hue flourecent doesnt pickup swirls that
much.

best time to check for swrils is in the morning sun. it's a whiter light,
strong but not too strong.
