What do you top your Zaino Z5 with?

Have an 08 G35 Journey Sport in Platinum Graphite.

I plan on using a couple of coats of Z5 as a sealant, but wanted a deeper, wetter shine and was wondering what waxes bond well with Z5 and produce a nice wet finish with a moderate amount of durability?

I've experimented with this a lot, and I'm sure others will have other opinions...but have come to the conclusion that Zaino is just not the option for a deep shine. Don't get me wrong, I love Zaino, and use it more than just about anything else. But its just not deep. It provides that hard candy extreme shine no doubt, and even a bit of wet shine if done right, but not deep.

The best results with wax I've had were topping it with P21s, but even still, the look wasn't any better than just doing P21s by itself.

I think the best look I've got out of Zaino(I use Z2 more than Z5) is a wipedown with Z6 then topping with Z8.

Thanks for the response. Reason I'm asking is b/c I have a bottle of Z5 sitting in my garage (I used up all the Z2), and figured that I'd use it as opposed to buying a new bottle of sealant (I'm pretty much a tightwad). I'm pretty much a noob at detailing, and have read about waxes bonding better to specific sealants, etc. It seems that Zaino has maximized the bonding properties within their product line...maybe it's my turn to experiment and contribute to the detailing community!

I'm thinking about trying some Natty's red or blue as it seems to be reasonably priced compared to pure carnuba waxes. The Dodo Juice Supernatural is pretty tempting at $30 as well....

A few years ago I topped 5-6 week old Z2pro with Nattys Blue. Hardly a difference IMO.

I don't have any issues at all getting great depth out of Z5pro followed by Z8 on darker colors. So my suggestion would be Z8.

Thanks for the reply. Very compelling. May just invest in a bottle of Z8 and wait until I use up the bottle of Z5 and Z8 before trying other sealant/wax combos. Thanks for sharing your experience!!!
