He's prolly wet sanding. When you wet sand the excess water and sanded residue will drip. Looks like they are cleaning up nicely. A lot less haze.

The over spray was from the water & wet sanding with 2000. Then I polished them with SSR2.5 & a orange pad with a cordless drill. I finished with some PB Fianl Polish but ran out of time.

looks great, hopefully you'll find time soon to finish... IMO, they didnt look that bad to begin with, i dont think i would have wetsanded without trying any less aggressive methods first... the headlights on my mercedes were horrendous, and menzerna's FPII (applied with a pc) worked better than i could have expected (looks close to brand new)... by the way, thanks for posting the materials that you used... will you be using any type of sealant afterwards???

I'm not sure what to use as a good sealant. I need something that I can get from a local auto parts store. Any ideas on what to use???

Personally, I currently use UPGP (ultima paint guard plus)... It is a boutique sealant sold by the people who run autopia.org... I have also used Zaino in the past with great results (amazing durability... although I didnt use it on headlights)... Sorry, my suggestions are things you have to order online (unless you're lucky enough to live near a detailer supplier)...
