Inner kick plate care

So, I notice on my '07 that the inner kick plates are getting some scratches, I'm wondering if there is a way to clean these up, and possibly some way of protecting them from future "feet". Most of them come from my Dad, who has a rough time lifting his feet over them, so I hate to say anything to him about it. I don't know, maybe I'm just beeing to **** about this?

I'm right there with you. Mine get scuffs all the time and scratches from time to time too. I don't feel like I ever even hit them, so I have no idea when its happening, but am consciously trying to not hit them now when I get in and out. I'm always scrubbing them, but I don't think there is any way to get rid of the scratches or protect from future ones.

Yeah, maybe you're right, I think they are even more noticable on a light interior, I know they were on my Stone '05. I was able to clean some scuffs with 3M Plastic Polish, but I have a few scratches that didn't come out. I even thought about getting some small pieces of carpet, like they used to have on the lower door panels of cars, I know my '00 Mustang did anyway.
