Zaino users...I have a question?

Hello,

I'm planning on using zaino on my car and they recommend cannon/fieldcrest 100% cotton towels, but I can not seem to find that brand. I know the company went bankrupt...so it is very difficult to find it. Are there any alternatives? Any other brand that is 100% cotton and is made in usa? Your help will be very helpful. Thanks

I went with some JCPenney home collection. They work great. No need to trim the edges or embroidery work. Just "tri-fold" them and you'll be fine. Towels fall apart in the dryer when you cut the trim off.

I suggest you ditch the cotton towels and go microfiber. dftowel.com.

I bought some bath towels at Wallmart on sale. 100% cotton and they work fine.

Thanks everyone. I never owned a black car before...I want to make sure that I don't get the ugly swirl mark on my car. I guess I'll go to JC Penney. As for the microfiber towels, according to Sal from Zaino, it's not consistent in terms of quality and he's testing it.

Dftowel.com is the highest quality microfiber towel retailer. It's the cheapo stuff from pepboys that sal refers to in terms of quality. Check out the detailing forum on my350z.com. It's got plenty of zaino distributors on there and hardcore zaino users. They are all using microfiber. You will get swirls with even 100% cotton towels if you are not super careful. I had the fieldcrest towels and cut the edges off. I ditched them because of the swirls I was getting.

Re: Zaino users...I have a question?

Zaino recommends 100% made in USA cotton towels. Go with cotton for Zaino products. I've tried both- the microfibre doesn't work as well, especially for applying Z6.
