crystal guard working?

After dawning, clay-bar, and CG quick on my car, it looks shiny as hell. However, when applying CG quick, how do I know if I spread the stuff evenly and over all the body panels? I couldn't see it when applying and couldn't see it when drying, but the entire car feels silky smooth. Thanks.

Re: crystal guard working?

Just did my first CG quick Saturday a week ago. Its the easiest way to a strong shine I have ever seen. It is hard to see if you are spreading it, I never wrung the cloth and just made sure I covered each section as I went. I did my wife's Black RX300 the same day and took it through a rain storm the following day, you couldn't tell after it air dried!

I used the microfiber that came with the CG quick. I'm new to microfiber so I figured what they sent was the way to go. Best thing so far.... take a half bucket of water and the microfiber cloth, soak it, wring it and wipe the car down rinsing the microfiber as you go from section to section. In 10 minutes your done no drying and the shine is awesome. I figure if I do that every 3 days or so, I doubt I wash the car again until I put another coat of CG quick on. So far I'm pleased, but it has only been a week. Hope that helps....Rod
