i want to swap out the infiniti rear emblem and put a nissan emblem in place of it. i was wondering if i was going to buy one from the local nissan dealer, what car would it come off of that is the same as the V35? a rear emblem off a 350z? a part number would be appeciated. TIA!

Check some internet sites for the real JDM Skyline 350GT badges. Places like bulletproof.com, intensepower.com, etc. are good places to start. Plan on $50 or so for each set ("Skyline", "350GT" and "Nissan" trunk and grill badges)

You can get the "Skyline" and "350GT" badges from grubbs for $19.99 each. Unless you meant $50 for the whole badging kit, then that's a god deal.

And I seem to recall seeing the trunk "Skyline" & "350GT" badges bundled for $45-50, with the grill & trunk "Nissan" badges going in the $15-$25 range each... ...not sure I'm remembering that correctly so I'll just say that the tip is much appreciated [img]/w3timages/icons/laugh.gif[/img] and I'll look up the Grubbs Infiniti dealership when I'm ready to rebadge.

go to ebay.com and search for g35 emblems , or osmething, i don't remember what i searched for but you will come up with:

Skyline emblems
350GT emblems
AND the Nissan emblems for both the back and the front grill, fits on like the infiniti one in the front.

 

I'm with you, Blitzjb - why not put Ferrari or Rolls Royce or Lamborghinni emblems on it - if you're gonna "pose", go all the way.

Why would you want to pretend the car is something other than what it is?? I know that Nissan is the parent corporation, but Infiniti is it's own division - I just don't get it.

DBARNES - An infiniti g35 IS a nissan skyline 350gt. It was originally created as a nissan skyline and was brought over here when infiniti decided they wanted to badge it as an infiniti G35. Everywhere else in the world, our car is a nissan skyline. There is no posing in that if thats what the car originally is.

 

Point well taken, ColdFusion - but a true Skyline is also Right Hand Drive, if I recall. Regardless, someone else said "Don't be hating", .... and they're right. Apologies to all (now what am I gonna do with the SS 454 emblems I just bought - LOL ??).

(BTW - I know full well the long and storied history of the JM Skyline).
