Wink Tire dressing

Hi Everyone,

I'm searching for a high quality tire dressing, for G35, can give a natural rubber looking not shiny look. I would appreciate if you can tell me which product is good.

Thanks
Moheb

Most products will give the tires a shiny look, some more than others. You could try just using a scrub brush and Simple Green to keep them black. Aerospace 303 may work as well and offer UV protection without too much glossiness.

There was a nice comparison thread a while back, I think if you are looking for a nice matte look NASCAR tire dressing, Optima's dressing, or Chemical Guys Silk and Shine are good options. If you are looking for as wet as it gets Meguiars Endurance is for you, but beware of the sling.

Both give mostly a wet look shine. If you want a matte look, get a hold of some Zaino Z16, or if you want a cheaper alternative. Go to the Finish Kare website and look for FK108. I bought two gallons of it, gives a nice matte look without the sling. $4.99 flat rate shipping to!

Not true, many products give matte looks as well. Depends on how much you use.

I've tried a lot, and personally I'm completely sold on Zaino. Goes on easy, extremely limited sling, and gives you a nice matte finish. I like that you can actually layer it for a shine too, just in case you ever want that look.

I go to aerospace 303 for a satin/matte finish, but the durability is pretty low if it gets wet

I use wolfgangs black diamond tire gel. Great stuff. It conditions the rubber also.

Zaino Z16 FTMFW! This stuff is great because YOU control how shiny or matte you want it. Apply it with a sponge, swipe it aound the tire a few times and bam! it will look great.

hows the durability/longevity of the zaino?

I like Meg's Endurance for its longevity

I used a few cans of Meguiars NXT insane shine, but the sling and durability were terrible.

I'm currently on a set of Stoner's More Shine - which I like so far. but yep, get them wet and its gone

I think the longevity of the Zaino is great. I used to use Meguiars Endurance exclusively until I upgraded my wheels and tires. Once my tires were flush with the outer body I'd always get overspray of the Meguiars onto the body. I first tried Aerospace 303 and that worked alright and was definitely matte but after a day or two it'd dry out and look like an undressed tire. I live in AZ and it's really dry here. Plus I like my tires to always look dressed. Now I use Zaino and I love it because the tires always look dressed, and it never comes off and dirties the body. I'm very pleased and have no intention of doing anything else.

I've been using Chemical Guys Extreme VRP for a while now and love it. The dressing gives the tires a 'fresh new look' to them without being overly shiny. Very rich and dark when applied a few times. It actually soaks into the rubber to nourish it and keep it from browning and cracking. I just recently washed my wheels and used Simple Green to scrub down and clean my tires. I haven't applied the VRP yet in over a week and they still look 'fresh'. As an added bonus, it smell nice and can be used in the engine bay and interior. Hope this helps.

Take care
